OLED: Organic Light Display, is a newly created category in mobile phone LCD and is reputed to be the "Dream Display". OLED display technology differs from traditional LCD displays in that it does not require a backlight and USES a very thin coating of organic material and a glass substrate or, in particular, a plastic substrate that emits light when an electric current is passed through it. And OLED displays can be made lighter and thinner, with greater viewing angles, and can save significant power. However, although in the future, OLED with better technology will replace LCDS such as TFT, organic light display technology still has disadvantages such as short service life and difficult screen size.

The basic structure of OLED is a thin, transparent semiconducting indium tin oxide (ITO) connected to the positive electrode of the electric power, coupled with another metal cathode, which forms a sandwich structure. The whole structure layer includes: hole transport layer (HTL), light emitting layer (EL) and electron transport layer (ETL). When the electric power is supplied to the appropriate voltage, the positive pole hole and the cathode charge will combine in the luminous layer to produce brightness. According to the different formulations, the three primary colors of red, green and blue RGB will be produced to form the basic colors. OLED is characterized by its own light, unlike TFT LCD needs backlight, so the visibility and brightness are high, followed by low voltage demand and high energy saving efficiency, coupled with fast response, light weight, thin thickness, simple structure, low cost, is regarded as one of the most promising products in the 21st century.
