VerLASE, an American developer of Micro LED technology, is committed to the development of Micro LED mass transfer technology based on inkjet printers. Yesterday (1), VerLASE announced that its Micro LED massive transfer technology has made substantial progress.

VerLASE plans to develop processes to produce a variety of Micro LED chips, ranging in size from 200 X 200 um(Mini LED) to 10 X 10 um and eventually to 5x5 um, the report said. At the same time, VerLASE also plans to demonstrate the transfer process of flip and vertical thin-film LED structures.
VerLASE's Micro LED technology is developed based on its unique photo-mechanical drive (PMA) technology, that is, through the seal transfer structure and the new chemical mechanism that can accurately grasp a large number of Micro LED, the Micro LED chip is transferred to the required substrate, and then distributed and placed with high precision and speed.
VerLASE claims that the process can achieve extremely high transfer volumes and high spatial accuracy when sufficiently operated.
