In theory, parallel light distribution can even be achieved, as shown in FIG. 13. However, in practical design, due to the limitation of length and application of small Angle, the volume of the luminaires is also difficult to control. At the same time, because a lot of light is emitted directly, it is difficult to realize the complex light pattern. In the LED era, it is more used for anti-glare, such as black light reflectors.

In the era of traditional light source, due to the high temperature of the light source cavity (the surface temperature of the HID spotlight cavity glass may be close to 200 degrees Celsius), the material is generally made of aluminum sheet by spinning, the surface is anodized, and high-end products are treated by aluminum or silver sputtering. However, due to the low precision of spinning process, high requirements on the consistency of raw materials (stress springback deformation after spinning) and higher requirements on the robustness of design, the mainstream 12 degree, 24 degree spotlights and street lamps in the traditional era are mainly controlled in the hands of international leading brands. With the intervention of LED, the temperature of optical cavity decreases, combined with the characteristics of high injection precision and easy production control, there is no technical bottleneck at present, and it has been widely used in all kinds of spotlights (small angles need to be set lens), downlight products, especially products with COB light source as the main source, but there is the problem of excessive side light spot in the application of small angles.
