The silicone used for LED packaging is generally a high temperature solidified liquid silica gel. Formed liquid silica gel has the following advantages:
(1) High curing reaction conversion rate, no by-product generation, uniform surface and internal vulcanization;
(2) Low catalyst consumption;
(3) The linear shrinkage rate of the product is small, ranging from 0% to 0.2%;
(4) Good high and low temperature resistance, it can be used for a long time at 150°C~200°C, and can still maintain elasticity at -60°C;
(5) Good electrical performance, good electrical insulation at -60°C~200°C, and small change of dielectric constant and dielectric loss factor with frequency and temperature. According to the different refractive index, LED encapsulated silica can be divided into methyl low-folding silica gel and phenyl high-folding silica gel.
