The innovative capabilities of mobile devices require components to adapt to smaller and smaller Spaces. One of the manufacturers' core tasks is to find the right emitter, photodiode and VCSEL driver chip (ICs), then calibrate them and install them into the final device. With the VCSELM-based module Bidos PLPVDC 940_P_L01 for time of Flight (ToF) applications, Osram now eliminates most of these tasks for manufacturers.
