Color effects in a fluorescence microscope
Fluorescence microscopy has been proved to be a very effective technique for biological and medical applications. When constructed as a reflection structure, light with different wavelengths of illumination and light emitted by the fluorescent sample passes through the same objective of the fluorescence microscope. In VirtualLab Fusion, we demonstrate the color effect of a selected high NA objective. In addition, we compare the analysis result of the actual objective lens with the ideal case obtained by debye - Wolff integral.
Taking fluorescence microscope as an example, the color effect of high NA objective lens at emission wavelength and illumination wavelength was analyzed respectively.
