Good afternoon, everyone!
It is a great pleasure to be here in Zhongshan. This is my first time to zhongshan. Today, I am very glad to attend the strategic cooperation signing and press conference of the two units. I would like to make an explanation here. Nanchang Silicon-based Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech company founded by the National Silicon-based LED Engineering Technology Research Center of Nanchang University, where I work, and I am also the director of the engineering Center.
As we all know, innovation-driven development is in line with the spirit of the Central Government. But to succeed in innovation-driven development, there is a special term called crossing the "Darwin's Sea". This "sea" is often difficult to cross, but also called crossing the chasm, which is difficult to cross. If each does its own thing and researchers only do research without considering cooperation with industry, it will be a long road, difficult to drive development through innovation in the short term, difficult to form scale effect, difficult to form a closed loop. On innovation-driven development, I made a speech at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee at the end of last year. Set up an innovation ecosystem, there are a lot of Bridges to cross, first to choose the right direction, to apply for research and development, to set up research and development team, to build a new laboratory, technical breakthrough can only calculate stage results, back to industrialization, looking for money, factory building, production, cost reduction, want to bring synergies, to marketing, but also on product upgrading, each level is difficult to cross. Technological innovation to form a good closed loop, to form a complete ecological chain, it is very difficult, some leaders said "often narrowly escape death". However, if technological innovation and big business cooperation, will accelerate the pace of innovation-driven development, the probability of success will be greater.
