Ultrashort pulse laser with femtosecond duration has great significance and potential for basic research and industrial applications. For example, this laser is used to get into ultra-fine work, often called "cold" ablation. In VirtualLab Fusion, model ultrashort pulses as combinations of broadband spectra and consider correlations between different spectral patterns. In this way, the ultra-short pulse characteristics in the spatial-temporal "spatial-spectral" (or "spatial-spectral") domain can be studied, as shown in the following example
