The lamp head of the solar street light must use the LED light source. When installing the lamp head, we must consider its size. If the size of lamp is too big, the top side of pole will not be able to hold the lamp safely, and it is easy to cause security risks. Compare to traditional lamp, LED lamp heads are relatively small in size because they are made of die-cast aluminum. This material meets the needs of the luminaire while minimized weight and making the luminaire lighter and safer. The die-cast aluminum LED lamp has a very high hardness. Even in the wind and rain, it is very firm, there is no loose parts, there are no safety hazards, and it will be relatively durable.

1: Check the built-in constant current source (LED driver). If lamps have built-in constant current source, connect the positive and negative terminals of the lamp output directly to the battery output. If the lamp doesn’t have constant current source, it is further divided into 3 strings or more than 3 strings.

2: If it is a lamp head without a constant current source, try to replace the original controller with another good controller. If the problem is fixed after replacement, it means that there is a problem with the original solar street light controller. Check if there is any problem with the wires at lamp head or LED chip.

3: It is well known that LED light source is a typical green illumination source, which does not cause light pollution to the environment. The LED light source not only has high brightness, but also emits heat much less than ordinary lighting, which is one another of its advantages.
