The heat dissipation of LED is paid more and more attention by people now, because the light decay of LED or its life is directly related to its junction temperature. If the heat dissipation is not good, the junction temperature will be high, and the life will be short. According to Arrhenius's rule, the life will be extended by 2 times if the temperature decreases by 10℃. According to Cree's diagram of the relationship between light decay and junction temperature (Figure 1), if junction temperature can be controlled at 65°C, the lifetime of light decay up to 70% can be as high as 100,000 hours! It's the coveted lifespan, but can it really be achieved? Yes, as long as you can seriously deal with its heat problem can be done! Unfortunately, the actual cooling of LED lights is far from this requirement! As a result, the life of LED lamps has become a major problem affecting its performance, so we must be serious!
