The ideal light source is sunlight, but artificial light must be used at night. Visible light is known to have wavelengths in the 380-780nm range, which includes the common blue light spectrum (400nm-480nm).

White light is composed of a mixture of various monochromatic lights, the most basic of which are red, green and blue. The measure of the color of white light is the color temperature in Kelvin. Generally, the color temperature range of LED lighting white light is: 2700K-7000K. If the blue color component in white light is increased, the color temperature of white light will be increased; if the blue color component in white light is decreased and the red color component is increased, the color temperature of white light will be decreased.

Photon energy and wavelength

The harm of blue light is mainly caused by the photochemical reaction caused by the light radiation rich in high energy blue light, which leads to the harm of retinal damage. Due to the abundant blue light in LED products and the high brightness of exposed LED light sources, LED lamps may have hidden risks caused by blue light.
