The human eye feels to light not only the brightness of light, still have color and saturation, in professional domain often use color coordinate, develop color index and color temperature to carry on judgment to illuminant light quality.

The color coordinate is a THREE-DIMENSIONAL label, in which the X axis represents the intensity of red light, the Y axis represents the intensity of green light, and the Z axis represents the intensity of blue light. The larger the value is, the stronger the light intensity is. Generally, (x=0.33, y=0.33) is pure white light. The values of the X-axis and Y-axis of the light source suitable for illumination are between 0.4 and 0.6, and the color coordinate range of OLED light source is roughly after 0.4.
Color rendering index is to judge the difference between light source and sunlight. The closer the value is to 100, the more consistent it is with sunlight, and the better the obvious color is. And color rendering index below 80, generally not suitable as a lighting source, because it will cause the object color distortion. The color rendering index (>95) of OLED light source is currently the closest to sunlight compared to other artificial light sources.
As for color temperature, it is related to light color. In visible light, the higher the color temperature is, the more blue light is contained, which is the most powerful part of visible light. If the light source contains more blue light, the color temperature of the device will be higher. The high-energy blue light is most likely to penetrate the retina of the eye, causing macular degeneration and even permanent damage.

White LED is obtained by using high energy blue light to excite yellow phosphors. Due to the abundant blue light in LED and the high brightness of exposed LED light source, LED lamps may have hidden risks caused by blue light. For this reason, the state has to issue the compulsory test document of blue light hazards again, GB7000.1 -- Lamps -- Part 1: General Requirements and Tests, "From January 1, 2017, the hazard assessment of blue light shall be carried out for lamps with integral LED or LED modules according to IEC/TR62778".

OLED light sources are made by stacking organic materials that emit different colors of light. OLED light has a low color temperature and can be used to adjust the ratio of each color, making it more eye friendly.
