Regional distribution of plant lighting enterprises in China

At present, there are more than 300 enterprises engaged in plant lighting in China, which has nearly doubled compared with the statistical data in 2015. From the overall perspective of China's plant lighting industry, the plant lighting industry in the Pearl River Delta region has been in the main position, accounting for more than 50%; The Yangtze River Delta region is still an important production area, accounting for 30%; Other regions accounted for 18 per cent.

Current plant lighting fixtures can be divided into two camps:
(1) Traditional plant lighting lamps, such as HPS, energy-saving fluorescent lamps, HID
(2) Emerging LED plant lighting lamps
Traditional plant lamps cost less and still occupy a certain proportion in the plant lighting industry. However, from the analysis of export data of plant lighting lamps in China, the export data of traditional plant lighting lamps has been in a negative growth trend since 2015, and the market share has been gradually shrinking. According to statistics, China's traditional types of plant lamp enterprises are mainly distributed in the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and bohai Rim region. The Yangtze River Delta region accounts for 53 percent, the Pearl River Delta region 24 percent and the Bohai Rim region 22 percent. LED plant lighting enterprises are mainly distributed in the Pearl River Delta region, the Yangtze River Delta region, 20 percent, bohai Rim region for 12 percent.
