Anyone who has done power development knows that starting power at a low temperature is a problem. The main reason is that most of the existing mature power supply schemes are inseparable from the extensive application of electrolytic capacitors (See Figure 3). However, in the low temperature environment below -25℃, the electrolyte activity of the electrolytic capacitor decreased significantly, and the capacitance attenuation of the capacitor was very large [1] (As shown in FIG. 4), leading to the failure of the circuit to work normally. To solve this problem, there are currently two options: one is to use a higher quality capacitor with a wider operating temperature range, which of course will increase the cost. The second is the circuit design without electrolytic capacitor, including ceramic lamination capacitor, or even linear drive and other drive schemes.
