Information

The Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Germany has developed a prototype for a Polymer OLED that is potentially much cheaper to produce than the Polymer OLED, which is made from multiple layers, foreign media reported.
The team used a decades-old technique called heat-activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), which had a service life of 2,000 hours and reduced brightness by 50 per cent.
"Now we want to further refine the concept to achieve A longer lifespan," said Dr. Gert-jan A. H. Wetzelaer, who led the team. "This could allow the concept to be used for industrial purposes."

A single layer can significantly reduce the cost of an OLED, which typically has five to seven layers.
The team reports their findings in Nature Photonics.
OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) works at a similar level to LEDS, except that unlike leds, which are made of inorganic semiconductors. OLED light-emitting materials should be organic.
Enthusiasts have long believed that OLeds will revolutionize lighting because they are flexible and flexible. But the truth is that production costs are high. OLED also lags behind LEDS in energy efficiency, and LED manufacturers have improved their designs by embedding leds into sheets to mimic the effect.
